Step 2: Combine meat, ½ the onions, bread crumbs, herbs, egg and seasonings in large bowl. Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Arrange on baking sheet. Bake 15 min. Step 3: Meanwhile, heat oil in 4-quart saucepan on medium heat. Add remaining onions; cook 4-6 min. or until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in garlic, ginger and turmeric; cook 1 min.
